Welcome to the Chelsea TreeHouse!

Who Are We?

[Dragonfly artwork © 2006 J.Balaka]The TreeHouse™ was started by a stay at home mom who lives right here in Chelsea, Michigan. Her dream was to create a gathering place for families, where kids can be kids and parents can relax.

Fueled by the imagination of children and driven by active community members who care, the TreeHouse is the kind of place they always wanted to bring family, friends and neighbors. A place where kids can play safely and enthusiastically, and adults are able to relax and spend time with friends.

The History of Our Location

The TreeHouse is located in the historic Clock Tower Complex, which was built in 1906. The building is just north of Chelsea's Clock Tower, which is well known as our oldest and most visible landmark. Our building has rich and interesting history, having once been the location of the Glazier Stove Works Company. The Glazier Stove Works Co. was founded by founded by Frank P. Glazier in 1891 and was once the largest stove company in the world.

The Clock Tower Complex was renovated in 2005, and retains much of its historic character and charm. And is now the home of many great stores and destinations here in Chelsea, including the TreeHouse!
